PURPOSE: To dispense with customary connection leads, cut down welding work of connection leads and assembly manhour, and reduce manufacturing cost, by providing connector terminals embedded in the connector fitted to a case and directly connected to an electronic circuit unit in the case.

CONSTITUTION: An igniter which controls current in the primary coil of an ignition coil is provided with a case 1, an electronic circuit unit 2 received in the case 1, a connector 10 fitted to the case 1, and connector terminals 11 embedded in the connector 10 and directly connected to the electronic circuit unit 2. Hereby, the electronic circuit unit 2 can be directly connected to the connector terminals 11 without connection leads. Consequently, welding work can be cut down and cost down can be attained.
