Title:
IGNITOR, HIGH VOLTAGE DISCHARGE LAMP LIGHTING DEVICE AND LUMINAIRE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001273985
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide an ignitor electrode which stabilizes an output of high voltage pulse applied to a high voltage discharge lamp, wherein a down-sizing is also made possible.
By arranging a leakage flux of step-up transformer 31 nearly orthogonal to discharge triggers 32d, 32e of discharging gap 32, an early excitation of discharge gap 32 by magnetism of step-up transformer 31 is inhibited, and an output of pulse voltage can be stabilized.
