Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH09237507
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To reduce the gathering of insects and attain a mental concentration on a driving practice by using the spot light of a filament type lamp for illuminating a driving court.

Only the peripheral region of a tee 2 mounted with a golf ball 1 is illuminated by the illumination beam 12 of a spot light using an incandescent lamp 11 of a filament type lamp having the luminous wavelength longer than that of a radiation type lamp. The radiation opening 11 a of the incandescent lamp 11 is made rectangular, or a mask having a rectangular hole is used to illuminate only a green mat 6, or a cylindrical or parabolic reflector may be used to illuminate only the approximate region of the tee 2 and the ball 1. No insects fly into the illumination region of the incandescent lamp 11 having the luminous wavelength longer than that of a fluorescent lamp, no illumination reaches a passage 8 adjacent to a driving seat 4, passers-by are invisible to a player, and the player can concentrate on a practice.
