Title:
ILLUMINATION CONTROLLER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01176697
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make it possible to provide comfortable and economical illumination at a fixed illuminance for a long time by controlling a current supplied to an illuminator in such a way as to keep the illuminance measured by an illuminance sensor within a set range. CONSTITUTION:To an illuminance sensor 4 is connected, via an input interface 11, a microcomputer 10 serving as an illumination control mechanism consisting of a CPU 7, an ROM 8 and an RAM 9, and further, a light adjustor 6 is connected thereto via an output interface 12. To the illuminance sensor 4 is attached a receiver 14 for receiving an infrared signal with a specific wavelength, which receives the infrared signal from an illuminance setter 15 so as to input it into the CPU 7 and sets a predetermined illuminance in response to the infrared signal. Accordingly, the illuminance of an illuminator is directly measured, and when the measured illuminance exceeds a set range, a current supplied to the illuminator is decreased, while, when the measured illuminance becomes under the set range, the current supplied to the illuminator is increased, therefore, the illuminance of light from the illuminator can be kept within a fixed range.
