To provide an illumination fixture which can be installed in a simple structure at a grid part of a system ceiling placed in parallel with or in a prescribed angle against a T-bar.
The illumination fixture 1 is mounted on the grid part 32 of the system ceiling 30 formed by the T-bar 31, and this fixture 1 has a slender box-shaped fixture body 2 in which the lower part is opened, a light source 10 and a lighting device of the light source 10 or the like are installed in the interior, and a locking tool 20 in which an engaging part 23 with the T-bar 31 is installed at the tip part, and is mounted on respective corner parts or in the vicinity of the top plate of the fixture body 2. The locking tool 20 is mounted in parallel with the longitudinal direction of the fixture body 2, or inclined against the longitudinal direction.
