Abstract:

To illuminate people and objects moving along a passageway in a proper timing continuously, and to simultaneously reduce energy consumption.

A position sensor 15 measures that a human 14 exists at a location (x), and a speed sensor 16 measures that the human moves at a speed (v). If an illumination lamp 12 requires a lighting sequence time ts measured from start to lighting, an illumination lamp located at a position x exp at a distance of x+v∼ts from the current position (x) is lighting when the human reaches the position x exp by starting the illumination lamp at a current position. The illumination lamp 12 is turned off in a constant time after the human passes this position x exp.
