Abstract:
To provide an illumination system which suppresses the residence in the night of a group made of a plurality of persons.SOLUTION: In an illumination system 1 related to an embodiment 1, a person detection unit 14 detects a person and a position of the person within a first range on the basis of a photographed image of the first range illuminated by a first light source 7. A group detection unit 15 detects a group made of the plurality of persons and the movement thereof within the first range on the basis of the detection result. A command unit 16 determines whether or not there is the residence group within the first range continuously for a period of time longer than a first threshold time in a night time zone on the basis of the detection result. When there is the residence group, the command unit 16 changes the intensity of visible light emitted by the first light source 7 or changes the intensity of the visible light emitted by a second light source 19 by orienting the irradiation direction of the second light source 19 toward the residence group by a drive unit 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
