PURPOSE: To eliminate the regulating means around an optical axis of an optical correcting means by a structure, to control an image blur, to improve the performance of the control and simultaneously, to attain the simplification of structure and reduction in the cost of this device.

CONSTITUTION: This image blur correcting device is provided with driving direction regulating means 7 and 8 for exerting time driving force of driving means 2a. 3, 4p and 4y as force for moving the optical correcting means 1 in a plane perpendicular to the optical axis of a lens group and magnetic regulating means 2a and 3 magnetically regulating the direction of rotation around the optical axis of the lens group and setting the driving direction of the optical correcting means 1 in two orthogonal directions in the plane perpendicular to the optical axis of the lens group and regulates the direction of the rotation around the optical axis of the lens group by the magnetic force.
