Abstract:

To provide an image carrier cleaning device for image forming device capable of realizing high-quality image formation under an extensive using condition over a long term and realizing the reduction of running cost by improving the cleaning performance of the image carrier cleaning blade for image forming device to polymer toner.

This cleaning device has a lubricant applycation mechanism for applying a solid lubricant on the surface of the image carrier while shaving it through a cleaning brush, and is constituted so that the linear pressure of the cleaning blade to the image carrier is 0.2 to 0.5 N/cm, the abutting angle thereof is 22 to 32 degrees, the impact resilience modulus of blade material is 45 to 65%, and 300% modulus is 1,000 to 2,500 N/cm2.
