Abstract:
To provide means that prevents strong transfer history and afterimage after continuous printing is performed on a high-resistance medium with a narrow width.SOLUTION: An image carrier unit has an image carrier having a photosensitive layer. When the image carrier is electrified with an electrifying member to which a voltage having an absolute value of 1000 V is applied and is exposed, the absolute value of an electric potential on a surface of the image carrier after the lapse of 0.06 seconds from the exposure is 125 V or less. When the image carrier is electrified with an electrifying member to which a voltage having an absolute value of 1000 V is applied and is exposed, the absolute value of the electric potential on the surface of the image carrier after the lapse of 0.167 seconds from the exposure is 55 V or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
