PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of correction patterns to use to correct image data in a printer.SOLUTION: An image correction circuit in a printer comprises a comparison part which compares plural pieces of rotation data obtained by rotating a part or all of pieces of inputted image data by respectively different angles with an identical correction pattern and determines whether the correction pattern and the plural pieces of rotation data match; and a correction processing part which when either of comparison results by the comparison part shows matching, corrects the image data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
