The image correction data calculation apparatus 11 includes: a calibration pattern display means 15 for generating a calibration pattern and giving it to an image display means 13; the image display means 13 for displaying the calibration pattern; an image photographing means 17 for photographing the calibration pattern displayed on the image display means 13; and an arithmetic means 19 for calculating image correction data from the pattern photographing image obtained by the calibration pattern photographed by the image photographing means 17 and information such as coordinates of the calibration pattern.
