Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly decode the coded signal of a difference vector, obtained by coding processing by realizing decoding processing corresponding to highly efficient coding processing, that codes the difference vector between a motion vector of a pixel value signal and the motion vector of a transparent signal.
SOLUTION: The image decoder is provided with a difference adder 86, that adds a decoded motion vector and a decoded difference vector, in addition to the circuit configuration that decodes a difference coding signal of a pixel value signal and a difference coding signal of a transparency signal.
