The image display apparatus to equalize the temperature of the panel is disclosed. A screen display means displays an image with a device such as a plasma display panel. A radiating plate 320 has a heat transmission unit for equalizing a surface temperature of the image display unit. The heat transmission unit uses a loop heat pipe 330. The loop heat pipe 330 circulates heat generated by the screen display means 310, and equalizes the temperature of the screen display means. Accordingly, the partial damage to the panel caused by the high temperature heat generated from the panel can be prevented, and service life of the panel can be extended.
