When detecting push of depression of a face button, a display control section 20c rotates the image at a predetermined angle (for example, 90) to a direction contained in face information detected by a face detection section 20a, and displays the rotated image. In other words, the image is rotated in the rotation direction of the image to obtain an upright face, for the first time when the face button is pushed. It is eliminated that the image is rotated automatically based on a detection result of face information, which is not intended by the user.
