To provide an image display device, a photographing device, an image retrieval system, an image retrieval method, a program, and a recording medium hardly making a recognition error in retrieving information on the basis of a photographer's image and voice.
The image retrieval program is to make a computer carry out an information acquisition step of acquiring a photographed object image and at least one of a second image and voice data related to the photographed object image; a management step of storing and managing the photographed object image acquired by an information acquiring means, and at least one of the second image and voice data; an index display step of arranging and displaying waveform images which express a reduced image of the photographed object image and a reduced image of the second image or voice data as waveforms, as indexes; an index selecting step of selecting the index displayed by the index display means; and an image display step of displaying the photographed object image corresponding to the index selected by the index selecting means.
