The sticker is formed by forming an image forming part 4 on a base 1, which is provided with an IR absorption ink printing layer 2 and is further provided with a resin layer 3 thereon and is provided with an image receiving layer 5 on a transparent film 6 from above the same, then thermally compression bonding the laminate onto the resin layer 3. The surface of the sticker is provided with the printing pattern layer 2 consisting of an IR absorption material and is provided with the image forming body 4 thereon in the manner described above, by which the easy judgment of the presence or absence of the printing pattern by the IR absorption ink is made possible by reading the printing pattern by using an IR reader even if the separately forged sticker is restuck. The authenticity discrimination of the used sticker is thus made possible.
