To provide an image display method and system for a browsing history, a program and a program recording medium, allowing image display of the browsing history about a commodity arbitrarily browsed by a user from a large number of commodities pictured in one static image.
This system has: an image data name of an image browsed by the user; a browsing portion identifier showing coordinate values of a browsed portion; and a user access log database 3 storing a browsing time, a browsing number, or both the sides as a user access log. The system responds to a request of the browsing history performed by an analyzer through an analyzer terminal connected to a network, adjusts image quality of a range of an image specified by the coordinate values shown by the browsing portion identifier on the basis of a prescribed image quality adjustment method, to the image stored in the user access log database 3, so as to generate browsing history display, and superimposes it on the image to display it on the analyzer terminal 10.
