Abstract:
To allow a user to visually recognize a realistic image with higher quality in a display technique to project an image on a retina.SOLUTION: A scanning mirror 52 secondarily scans an arrival point of a laser beam 57 for an image on a retina 104 of an eyeball 102, and makes a laser beam 59 for reference incident on the eyeball 102 on the same path as the laser beam 57 for the image. A distance acquisition unit 60 observes reflected light 61 of the laser beam for reference, and acquires distances to a plurality of reflecting surfaces on the eyeball 102. An eyeball state acquisition unit 64 estimates an eyeball state obtained from a thickness of a crystalline lens and the like, and a beam control unit 54 adjusts a beam state of the laser beam 57 for the image in accordance with the eyeball state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
