PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the image edit method in which image information is not leaked to a 3rd party.
SOLUTION: A master key KM for ciphering/decoding purpose is built in a designated ciphering decoder with secrecy. An author 5 of an image digitizes the image for each picture element and uses a ciphering key generator 6 to generate an image key K, it is ciphered by the master key and the result is given to an editer. The editer enters the received key to the ciphering decoding device and enters the ciphered image information thereto, an analog image decoded by the image key is displayed on a display device. Furthermore, when moving information of the picture elements is given to an edit device, ciphered digital information is obtained via the ciphering decoding device and registered as image information and moving processing is conducted. Moreover, the changes in the picture elements are conducted by the edit device converting the input information into the ciphered digital information via the ciphering decoding device and replacing and registering the information with the ciphered information of the corresponding picture element of the ciphered image information.
