Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the capacity of an address memory obtaining the address of a picture memory.
CONSTITUTION: When the leading address of a scanning line to be outputted by a vertical pointer 4 is discriminated as being in the specified enlargement range by a discrimination means 100, the (n) leading addresses are set to an address memory 3 according to an enlargement rate (n) set by a vertical direction enlargement rate setting device 22, which are given to an address counter 2 reading out a picture memory 1. Thus, since the only leading address within the enlargement range is set, the address memory can be reduced.
