Abstract:
To capture an ultrasonic image by tracking a same cross section of an affected portion that three-dimensionally moves.SOLUTION: An image evaluation device comprises: an image acquisition unit which acquires an ultrasonic image obtained by imaging an organ of a patient with an ultrasonic probe; a determination unit which determines whether the ultrasonic image acquired by the image acquisition unit is in a contact failure state where an acoustic shadow is generated, a cross section inappropriate state where a cross section of an image of the organ of the patient included in the ultrasonic image is in an inappropriate state, an image defective state being the state that fits into any of the contact failure state and the cross section inappropriate state, or an image excellent state being is the state that does not fit into any of the contact failure state, the cross section inappropriate state and the image defective state; and a position control unit which performs control such that the ultrasonic image acquired by the image acquisition unit becomes the image excellent state by controlling relative positions of the ultrasonic probe and the organ of the patient on the basis of the state determined by the determination unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
