Abstract:
To solve the problem in which the deviation occurs between the printing prediction time calculated based on the premise that image data subjected to preceding rendering processing is used and the time for the actual printing in such a case that the image data subjected to preceding rendering processing may be unavailable for use when the printing setting is changed at the printing execution in a reservation printing system including a function of executing printing from any one of plural image formation apparatuses connected to a network.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus determines whether image data subjected to preceding rendering processing can be used after the change of the printing setting when the printing setting is changed, calculates and displays the printing prediction time using the image data subjected to the preceding rendering processing when the image data can be used, calculates and displays the printing prediction time not based on the image data subjected to the preceding rendering processing when the image data cannot be used, and thereby displays the printing prediction time closer to the actual printing time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
