Abstract:
To provide a technique dealing with a case where a problem of memory shortage occurs in an image formation apparatus.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus having a plurality of functions includes: a storage unit which has a prescribed storage area; and an operating system to which a portion of the prescribed storage area is allocated, which realizes at least a portion of the plurality of functions by executing a plurality of processes, and when allocation is not possible, realizes allocation by forcibly terminating a portion of the plurality of processes being executed. The image formation apparatus forcibly terminates a dummy process preferentially over the other processes of the plurality of processes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
