To suppress the sense of discomfort given to a viewer of headers and footers displayed over plural pages.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus comprises: a specific image detection unit which detects a specific image including at least one of headers and footers having a prescribed relation at the same positions over plural pages; a halftone processing selection unit which can use plural types of halftone processing and selects halftone processing in a type suitable to the attribute of the specific image from the plural types of halftone processing; and an image formation unit which uses the selected type of halftone processing to form dots on an image formation medium by generating dot data expressing the formation state of the dots.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
