Abstract:
To provide a full color image with the high visibility in accordance with the color of a recording medium.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus 100 includes: an image processing unit 106a which converts document image data to print image data; a print control unit 108 which performs control so as to print the print image data on a recording medium; a color information acquisition unit 106c which acquires the saturation and hue angle of the recording medium; NVRAM 105 (reference color storage unit) which stores the hue and hue angle of each of reference color images having different colors in advance; and an image correction unit 106b which compares the hue angle of the recording medium acquired by the color information acquisition unit 106c with the hue angle acquired from the NVRAM 105 and corrects the gradation characteristics of the document image data in accordance with the saturation and hue angle of the recording medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
