Abstract:
To shorten the time lag until an adjustment result is reflected on a print output from the adjustment in a case where the image formation is performed while confirming the registration of a medium such as pre-printing.SOLUTION: Processing means 11 performs processing of converting supplied printing data to raster image data. Writing means 12 writes the raster image data converted by the processing means 11 into storage means 16. Image formation means 13 sequentially reads a portion of the raster image data stored in the storage means 16 to form an image on a medium in accordance with the read data. Control means 14 performs control to make the speed of processing in the processing means 11 slower when the image formation by the image formation means 13 is performed in the operation mode for registration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
