Abstract:
To provide an image formation apparatus capable of reliably locking an open/close cover in all engagement sections when the open/close cover is in a closed state.SOLUTION: Lock means holding an open/close cover 21 in a closed state relatively to a main body of an image formation apparatus 10 includes a plurality of lock sections provided in the main body of the image formation apparatus 10; and a plurality of locked sections provided in the open/close cover 21 and engaged by the plurality of lock sections, respectively; out of a plurality of engagement sections where these sections engage with one another, a first engagement length 50a by which a first lock section 23a of a first engagement section engages with a first locked section 21a is set larger than a second engagement length 50b by which a second lock section 23b of a second engagement section engages with a second locked section 21b, and at least one of the second lock section 23b and the second locked section 21b in the second engagement section has an inclined surface 23b2 (inclined section) attracting the section to a mutual engagement position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
