Abstract:
To enable the presence/absence of storage of a sheet-like medium to be detected and the shortage of the sheet-like medium of a roll body to be detected by a detection unit having a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A printer 100 comprises: a feeding roller 2; an arm 2a; a conveyance unit 30; and a cut sheet detection unit 72 having an actuator 72a and a sensor 72b. When a roll sheet Rp takes a first posture when being fed by the feeding roller 2 between a roll body R and the feeding roller 2, the actuator 72a is arranged at a first position.
