Abstract:
To enable high-quality printing processing to be performed in a short time.SOLUTION: When performing regular printing processing, an image formation device 1, if printing data generation time TD calculated by measuring variable image expansion time TV and image synthesis time TS respectively is larger than image formation time TP, starts to output printing data D after printing stand-by time TW which is a difference between both time elapses. This enables the image formation device 1 to prevent occurrence of print over-run due to delay of supply of the printing data D to a print engine 7, and can surely inhibit occurrence of a great deal of waste papers caused by occurrence of the print over-run, in executing the regular printing processing to a paper P which is a lengthy label paper.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
