Abstract:
To perform an instruction of transporting a new recording material that uses a processing tray even when a recording material, which is not staple-processed, is left on the processing tray.SOLUTION: An image formation system includes: image formation means; a processing tray; detection means; a staple unit; discharge means; a discharge tray; instructing means; and control means that can switch between a first mode and a second mode. The control means causes the discharge means to perform discharge operation for discharging a recording material inserted into the processing tray to the discharge tray without causing the staple unit to perform staple processing onto the recording material inserted into the processing tray when an instruction of transporting the recording material in the first mode is issued in a standby state for an execution instruction after the detection means detects the recording material inserted into the processing tray in the second mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
