Abstract:
To provide a technology that, in cooperation of an image forming apparatus and a portable terminal with each other, makes it possible to check that the image forming apparatus cooperating with the portable terminal is an image forming apparatus desired by a user.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 50 acquires information (information for specifying apparatus) for a user to determine whether an image forming apparatus that is to cooperate with the portable terminal 50 is a desired image forming apparatus through BLE communication (short-range radio communication) with the image forming apparatus. The portable terminal 50 displays a confirmation message 700 confirming execution of cooperation with the image forming apparatus. The confirmation message 700 includes the information for specifying apparatus (for example, apparatus name "sixth floor, east side 1"). The portable terminal 50 executes the cooperation with the image forming apparatus (for example, authentication operation) according to the user's operation to confirm the confirmation message 700.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
