Abstract:

To provide an image forming apparatus for displaying application information for determining whether an application can be installed or not on an operation panel.

The image forming apparatus provided with the operation panel for displaying or inputting operation information is further provided with an information acquisition means for acquiring application information concerned with an application to be used for the image forming apparatus, a determination means for determining whether the application can be installed in the image forming apparatus or not on the basis of the application information acquired by the information acquisition means and a display means for displaying the application information acquired by the information acquisition means or information concerned with the application information on the operation panel.
