Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus that, during copy printing, can perform post-processing on a printed material for each of the page ranges intended by a user.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 comprises: an image reading unit 12; a storage unit 18; a control unit 17; a printing unit 15; and a post-processing unit 2. The image reading unit 12 reads a document to create first image data. The storage unit 18 stores first image data. The control unit 17 detects a specific image from the first image data stored in the storage unit 18. The control unit 17 partitions the first image data in a page range unit based on the specific image. The control unit 17 divides a plurality of page images based on the partitioning to create a plurality of pieces of second image data. The control unit 17 creates print information based on the plurality of pieces of second image data. The printing unit 15 prints a printed material based on the print information. The post-processing unit 2 performs post-processing on the printed material for each of the plurality of pieces of second image data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
