Abstract:
To arrange a positioning image so as to properly perform positioning of cutting-out even when label printing is performed to a plurality of roll sheets.SOLUTION: A printing system including an image formation apparatus and a post-processing device calculates the first sheet length necessary for printing label images and positioning images in the volume instructed by a printing job when instructing printing by designating the arrangement of the label image and the positioning image, calculates the second sheet length remaining in the attached roll sheet, determines whether the printing job can be processed with the attached roll sheet on the basis of the comparison result between the first sheet length and the second sheet length, and arranges the positioning image scheduled to be printed at the terminal end of the printing job after the label image arranged on the roll sheet to be printed at least previously when it is determined that there is the need to divide the printing job into the plurality of roll sheets to perform processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
