Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus in which its position can be properly controlled in the image forming apparatus having a movable sheet delivery tray.
In an image forming apparatus, when a postprocessor 200 is connected to the inside of a body thereof, and a postprocessor 300 is not connected to the postprocessor 200, it is decided that a sheet delivery tray is lowered to a lower limit position (S107), and when the postprocessor 200 is connected to the inside of the body of the image forming device, and the postprocessor 300 is connected to the postprocessor 200, it is decided that the position of the sheet delivery tray near above the postprocessor 200 is kept at the position (S105).
