Abstract:
To reduce the usage of a storage area of a storage as much as possible, while preventing a reduction in print speed due to compression processing on attribute data.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus of the present invention has: receiving means that receives image data from an external device; reading means that reads an image of a document to generate image data; compression means that compresses attribute data generated on the basis of the image data; and printing means that executes print processing of printing, on a sheet, an image based on the image data received by the receiving means and first attribute data generated on the basis of the image data or the image data generated by the reading means and second attribute data generated on the basis of the image data. The compression means does not compress the second attribute data generated on the basis of the image data generated by the reading means, and the compression means compresses the first attribute data generated on the basis of the image data received by the receiving means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
