Abstract:
To reflect a printing position deviation amount calculated for one print medium storage unit of a plurality of print medium storage units on the another print medium storage unit.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a first print medium storage unit that stores a print medium; a second print medium storage unit that stores a print medium; image forming means that forms an image for printing including a reference image used for detection of a printing position deviation amount on the print medium supplied from the first print medium storage unit; reading means that reads the reference image formed on the print medium supplied from the first print medium storage unit; calculation means that calculates the printing position deviation amount based on the read reference image; and reflection means that, when an image is formed on the print medium supplied from the first print medium storage unit, reflects the calculated printing position deviation amount on an image formation position, and when an image is formed on the print medium supplied from the second print medium storage unit, reflects the calculated printing position deviation amount on an image formation position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
