Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain print output that does not impair visibility, legibility of both text and comment, and comment insertion intent in a case of printing a structured document described in a markup language and containing the comment.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus which includes an image processing unit and a print engine and which performs printing of document data described in a markup language created by using an application analyzes document data, extracts a comment inserted to a prescribed character string of the text using a function of the application, separates the document data into text data and comment data for each page, causes the image processing unit to generate a text print image and a comment print image on the basis of the text data and the comment data for each page, arranges the text print image and the comment print image on different pages, and instructs the print engine to perform printing in the printing format that the text and comment overlap each other in a visible manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
