To provide an image forming apparatus having high convenience for a user, in which operation to a print job can be surely and easily executed by the user, without an output result of one print job being output, mixed in other output results.
An instruction acquisition part 135 receives a print stop instruction to a print job ID. A condition identifying part 136 stores the print job ID and a job state in cross-reference. When a print operation corresponding to the print job starts, and the instruction acquisition part 135 receives the print stop instruction in a print job information storage part 132 which stores a job under printing as a job status of the print job, a job status stored in cross-reference with the print job ID to the print stop instruction received by the instruction acquisition part 135 is identified. A print job control unit 133 does not execute a temporary stop of the print job, when the status identifying part 136 identifies that the job to remain printed.
