Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus and a process cartridge having stable cleaning performance independently of the conditions of formed images and image area ratio.
In the electrophotographic process image forming apparatus including a cleaning device 15 for removing a toner remaining on a photoreceptor 5 with a cleaning blade 15a, and has an applying means 17 to apply a lubricant to the photoreceptor 5, and the applying means 17 includes a brushy roller 17a, this brushy roller 17a scrapes the lubricant from a lubricant molding 17b and applies it to the photoreceptor 5, such a lubricant is contained in a toner and supplied to the photoreceptor 5.
