Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus that is excellent in cleaning maintainability of a secondary transfer member.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a toner image forming device that includes a photoreceptor having an outermost surface layer containing a dispersant having polytetrafluoroethylene particles and fluorine atoms and containing a perfluorooctanoic acid in an amount of 25 ppb or less with respect to the polytetrafluoroethylene particles, and forms a toner image on the surface of the photoreceptor; and a transfer device that has an intermediate transfer body to the surface of which the toner image is transferred, a primary transfer device primarily transferring the toner image formed on the surface of the photoreceptor to the surface of the intermediate transfer body, and a secondary transfer device secondarily transferring the toner image transferred to the surface of the intermediate transfer body to the surface of a recording medium, the secondary transfer device having a hexadecane contact angle of the surface of 30 degrees or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
