Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus that achieves both reduction of wear of a cleaning blade and reduction of wear of an inorganic protective layer of an electrophotographic photoreceptor.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus is such that: the content of resin particles in the entire toner particle is 2 mass% or more and 30 mass% or less; the sum of the component ratios of oxygen, hydrogen, and the Group 13 element to the entire elements constituting an inorganic protective layer is 0.95 or more, and the element component ratio R of oxygen to the Group 13 element (oxygen/Group 13 element) is 0.8 or more and 1.9 or less; and the ratio of the content ratio W of the resin particles to the element component ratio R of oxygen to the Group 13 element (oxygen/Group 13 element) (W/R) satisfies 1.05≤W/R≤3.75.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
