Abstract:
To reduce line buffers used for correcting positional deviations of output images and to reduce memory capacity used for correcting the positional deviations.
A main scanning direction deviating position of input image information is determined according to the positional deviation amount of the image, and marker information is added for each main scanning direction deviating position to generate coded information when generating the coded information of the input image information. When decoding the coded information, the order of the coded information is replaced based on the detected position of the marker information added to the coded information to carry out extension processing of the decoded information.
