To provide an image forming apparatus and a sheet conveyance apparatus which improve the convenience of a printing job at jamming.
The image forming apparatus includes: an image forming part for forming an image on a sheet supplied from a sheet feed tray; an sheet ejection tray for ejecting the sheet on which the image is formed by the image forming part; a plurality of conveyance paths for conveying the sheets from the sheet feed tray to the sheet ejection tray; a detection device for detecting sheet jam and a jamming position thereof in the conveyance paths; a determination device for determining whether there is a conveyance path not via the jamming position when the detection device detects the sheet jam; and a conveyance device for conveying the sheet to the sheet ejection tray on the conveyance path even after jam detection when the determination device determines that there is the conveyance path not via the jamming position.
