Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly achieve appropriate setting of a pressing part which presses a recording medium with a simple configuration, in an image forming apparatus which performs image formation and output by pressing the recording medium.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus performs image formation and output by pressing a recording medium, and includes: an input/output control part 150 which acquires a printing job including a medium identification number which is information showing a kind of the recording medium; an engine control part 120 which acquires an operation setting value corresponding to the medium identification number included in the acquired printing job and performs operation setting, on the basis of a setting value table in which an operation setting value of a print engine 106 which performs the image formation and output by pressing the recording medium is associated with medium identification information; and a main control part 110 which controls the print engine 106 by which the operation setting is performed, and makes the print engine 106 execute the image formation and output corresponding to the printing job.
