Abstract:

To provide an image forming apparatus and an image forming system, which can simplify the setting of a network, and which can reduce a burden imposed by setting operations associated with access restrictions on a user of the image forming apparatus.

This image forming apparatus determines whether or not network setting information is stored in an external storage 3 which is connected to a connecting means 14, and makes the setting of the network automatically executed on the basis of the network setting information, when the network setting information is stored.
