Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus capable of verifying that image data formed by its own apparatus and other apparatus are not altered.
In the image forming apparatus 10, verification data of image data are generated by using ID data extracted from image files generated by its own apparatus or the other apparatus, common data read from a memory 110, and a hash value generated from the image data in the image file, and the generated verification data are compared with the verification data in the image file to verify that the image data in the image file are not altered.
