To provide an image forming apparatus capable of removing creases on the clothes of a user by utilizing an operating time while a copying, a printing or the like is carried out.

The image forming apparatus includes an image forming mechanism, a tank 11 for storing water, a heater 12 for heating water, a fan 13 for expelling generated vapor out of the apparatus, and ejection openings 14 through which the vapor is ejected. Vapor is ejected toward clothes of a person using the apparatus and thus creases in the clothes of the person are removed. In this case, from the viewpoint of further improvement in safety and usability of the apparatus, it is preferable to provide a person detecting sensor S, thereby ejecting vapor from the ejection openings 14 when the sensor S detects a person standing in a predetermined position.
