To improve the workability of an inspecting work in a photograph processing device in which long printing paper stored in a magazine is drawn and cut by a length corresponding to print data and exposure is carried out on the drawn printing paper.
If a defect occurs, an image different from a regular image, such as a strip, is formed on a recording surface. In the drawing, (a) indicates that printing paper runs out during image formation; (b) indicates a splice part, and (c) indicates the load of a fresh roll or the cut of the leading end of a roll for cleaning. Consequently, an operator notices a defect by the normal inspecting operation for image quality and thus the inspecting operation is improved. In addition, an existing image forming means can be used without separately providing a means for marking printing paper in order to indicate the occurrence of a defect.
